NFC Instructions
How to program your TagLabs NFC tag
All TagLabs NFC tags are rewritable and can be programmed in seconds using your smartphone.
What you need

A smartphone with NFC
-
NFC enabled in your phone settings
-
"NFC Tools" app or similar (free on iOS and Android)

Your TagLabs NFC tag
How to program the NFC tag

Install an NFC app (for example: NFC Tools)
-
Open the app
-
Choose “Write” and “Add a record”
-
Select what you want the tag to do (URL, contact, Wi-Fi, etc.)

Choose “Write” again
-
Hold your phone close to the NFC tag
-
Wait for the confirmation message
-
Done! Your tag is programmed
Check by closing the app and holding your phone close to the NFC tag.
Important notes
-
NFC tags do not need power or batteries
-
The tag only works when a phone is very close
-
iPhones may show a confirmation popup before opening the action
-
You can lock the tag after programming (optional)
-
Locked tags cannot be edited unless unlocked
You can rewrite the tag anytime.
Troubleshooting
-
Make sure NFC is enabled in phone settings
-
Remove thick cases if scanning fails
-
Try repositioning the phone slowly
-
Some Android phones require screen to be unlocked
